WeGroup × Microsoft: Smart Buddy lives inside Outlook.
Microsoft is the platform partner behind WeGroup's Smart Buddy. It runs as a Microsoft Outlook add-in, distributed through Microsoft AppSource, and brings the client portfolio to where advisors already work: the inbox. No extra tabs, no rekeying. This is the Efficiency layer.

- Microsoft 365
- Outlook on web, desktop and mobile
- SSO
- Single sign-on, no separate login
Advisors in the Netherlands and Belgium spend their day in their inbox, while the portfolio lives in another system. Today that means a few steps for each email: find the client, open the policy, check the last contact, then reply. Smart Buddy brings that context alongside the message.
Built on Microsoft's Outlook add-in platform, Smart Buddy reads the sender's email address, looks up the matching client in WeGroup, and surfaces portfolio context, policies and next actions inline with the email. The advisor stays in Outlook.
Microsoft is the platform we build on, and Microsoft 365 stays your system of record for mail, calendar and identity. WeGroup adds the Efficiency layer on top, where the work already happens.
Outlook add-in, inline context
Open an email and Smart Buddy shows the matching client, active policies and next actions inline, without switching tabs.
Sender-to-client lookup
Smart Buddy reads the sender's email address and matches it to the client in WeGroup, surfacing the right portfolio automatically.
Single sign-on
Advisors sign in once through Microsoft identity. No second password, no separate login screen for Smart Buddy.
AppSource distribution
Smart Buddy is published on Microsoft AppSource, so IT can deploy it across the tenant through the Microsoft 365 admin centre.
